Till A. Heilmann is Research Associate at the Department of Media Studies at the University of Bonn. His fields of research are Media history; media theory; media semiotics; history of media studies. His research focuses on digitality as a cultural principle; digital technology and labor; North American and German media theory; writing and algorithm; standardization and norms.
