In Media Res Theme Week on "Represening Democracy "

Bettina Soller and Maria Sulimma are contributing to the current theme week at In Media Res (link).
Their joint post “I can’t identify myself as a woman! People can’t know that!“ – Female Protagonists in Current Political Drama and Comedy” will be published on November 4, 2014, and will examine gender in selected political Television series.
During the theme week, each day's contribution will consist of a video clip of up to three minutes and an essay of 300-350 words. These posts are designed to serve as a conversation starter. To participate in the discussion, you must register beforehand.
