Susan Squier is Brill Professor of English and Women's Studies at Penn State University, and Einstein visiting fellow at the Freie Universität, Berlin, 2016-2019, where with Dr. Irmela Marei Krüger-Fürhoff she co-directs the PathoGraphics Project. Her books include Graphic Medicine Manifesto (2014), Poultry Science, Chicken Culture (2011), Liminal Lives: Imagining the Human at the Frontiers of Biomedicine, Communities of the Air: Radio Century, Radio Culture, and Babies in Bottles. She co-edits the Graphic Medicine book series at Penn State Press.
