Felix Brinker, M.A.
Felix Brinker, born 1982, studied American Studies and Political Science at Leibniz University Hannover and the University of the West of England in Bristol. He completed the M.A. program “Advanced Anglophone Studies” at the University of Hannover in 2012 with a thesis titled “Grand Schemes and Hidden Plots: The Aesthetics of Conspiracy in Contemporary American Serial Television.” From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a project assistant in the sub-project "Serial Figures and Media Change" (Prof Dr. Ruth Mayer and Dr. Shane Denson).
Felix Brinker is an associated member of the Research Unit and a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of North American Studies, Free University Berlin, where he is working on his dissertation project, tentatively titled “On the Formal Aesthetics and Politics of Transmedial Superhero Series in Contemporary American Film and Television.”
