Björn Lorenz, born 1981, completed his Master’s thesis on seriality in Perry Rhodan in 2007 and is now working on his doctoral thesis. Since 2009 he has been working as a linguistic consultant. His research interests include text linguistics, dramatology, narratology, and seriality.

He is research assistant in the sub-project "Forms and Practices of Seriality in the ARD Police Procedural Tatort."
