On November 7 and 8, the interdisciplinary research project "Serial Narration on Television" and the Department of English Linguistics of Universität des Saarlandes are holding the international conference "Quality-TV: Zwischen Laudatio und In Memoriam" in Saarbrücken. Martin Lampprecht will give a talk on "Quality TV, cinephilia, seriephilia, or: How to be a better spectator".
