Lectures in the JFKI Colloquium

This upcoming summer semester, several talks within the colloquium of the departments Literature and Culture at the John F. Kennedy Institute will be held by collaborators and friends of the Popular Seriality Research Unit. All talks will take place Wednesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and the JFK Institute in Dahlem.

22. April - Scott Higgins (Wesleyan University): “Matinee Melodrama: Story as Play in American Serials”
20. May - William Uricchio (MIT): “Sears, the Catalogue, and the American Mode of Consumption”
