On December 1–2, 2016, the University of Siegen will hold the workshop "Encoding the Future: Perspectives on the Making of the Human in Ex_Machina." Julia Leyda and Shane Denson will be keynote speakers with talks on "Cute 21st Century Postfembots" and "Ex_Machina: Post-Cinematic Frankenstein?"
